Henley Placket

A henley is a collarless pullover with a short buttoned placket at the neck, typically two to four buttons. The placket is where construction quality shows: a reinforced, cleanly topstitched placket with a proper facing lasts; a thin, single-layer one puckers and pulls at the buttonholes over time. Fabric weight matters as much as on a tee — a henley is essentially a tee with a placket, so GSM and knit still drive the value. Judge one by the placket build and the weight, not by the vintage styling of the product photo.
